Installed at 325 station 20th May 2003.
The Type Two is constructed on an ISUZU
FTR 800 cab / chassis in a 4X2 configuration.
This appliance can be configured as a Standard
Pumper or a Secondary Rescue Unit.
The unit is fitted with a 2000 litre water
tank and a Rosenbauer NH30 pump.
The pump is powered by the vehicles engine
through a split shaft PTO. The pump is a
multi pressure type with both high and low
pressure.
The flow is capable of 3000 litres per minute.
The hose reel provided at top rear of vehicle
is 75m of 25mm booster hose line and fitted
with an AKRON 1702P Branch/Nozzle.
Supporting the water delivery system is a
Hale Foam Master foam proportioning system.
This system injects foam mix to no one delivery.
This system provides a metered amount of
foam Class A for both structural and bushfire
incidents.
Class B foam can be generated via a foam
eductor from the 80 litre bulk foam tank
via gravity feed outlet.
