Members and About Station 325 and our role
Members of 325 Station
325 Station is one of a network of fire stations
across the state of New South Wales, Australia.
The Station is run by the N.S.W.F.B. that
is a state government department.
The New South Wales Fire Brigades do a lot
more then just fight fires.
Today the fire brigades are responsible for
fire prevention (education programs), hazardous
material incidents, land based rescue and
helping other agencies during natural disasters.
The New South Wales Fire Brigades have both
permanent and retained (part time fire fighters).
325 Helensburgh Station as shown above has
a brigade of local retained fire fighters,
who have a crew on call
24 hrs per day7 days per week.
Each retained fire fighter has bells connected
to their home phones and carry pagers.
