While on vacation in the USA Deputy Captain Les Kiddle from Helensburgh 325 station and Parramedic Fire-fighter Brenda Johnson of Cottonwood Arizona met .Four years after meeting via the internet. Les and his wife Bronwyn stayed with the Johnson family for over a week whilst being shown the sights around Arizona.
Brenda being a well known and highly respected emergency worker was able to show Les around the emergency service centers. Both Brenda and Les exchanged information about their services and how they function and both said that they had learned a lot from each other. The Kiddle and Johnson families are now very close friends, Brenda her husband Ben and their two sons Travis and JR are presently organising a trip to Australia. The internet yet again making the world a little smaller as it brings people closer together.
